"Strap Ons" The Buck Stops Here.

It was heartening to hear the President of the United States quote former President Harry Truman last night, when in his remarks he reminded us that the buck stops with him. This is particularly refreshing after 8 years of W, during which time the buck never stopped anywhere.

What is more we all know that in foreign policy matters the precise use of words from the podium sends messages. In fact the speech itself was a message. The fact that the Presidnet made the speech on terrorism, the fact that he said that we are at war, and that there are forces who are trying to destroy us, and then the fact that he quoted Truman.

Harrys S. Truman an old school stand up for the working class, self made man from Missori, and the only mand, so far to authorize the use of nuclear weapons -- twice. The phrase "the buck stops here" specifically had to do with his decision in that matter. Over the years revisionished have questioned Harry Truman's descion to drop the first atomic bombs on a society who's religion considered it a divine honor to die in battle for their God, so much so that holding out to the last man marked their battles, and many officers committed hari Kari rather than surrender. And let us not forget the "divine wind" the kamakazi, who would strap themselves into a plane and guide it into a target whatever that might be sort of like a human guided missle, a suicide bomb. Sound familiar.

Islam take heed those who do not remember history are condemed to repeat it.

The President tried to temper his remarks, by making a distinction between good Muslims and bad Muslims, which administrations have been doing in a most respectful manner, and in a manner that speaks to the tolerance and peace loving nature of the United States of America, but make no mistake about it this speech was a clear warning to the forces of Islam, and this writer is not convinced that there is a distinction between good Islam and bad Islam.

I think the President, having gained access to classified information, upon his election is even getting tired of making this distinction. I know the American people are tired of it. At some point we must stop trading tolernace for justice.

Islam has two faces, one of PR and peace, and another face reserved for those who are willing to kill innocent people via "strap-ons" dying a glorious death for allah, much like the Japanese Kmakazzes, by destroying the innocent lives of people they label as infidels -- representatives of the great Satan. Either their faith believes that these "strap-ons" are martyrs or it does not? If it does not, then one would think that greater efforts by the Islamic community would be made, not to just distance themselves from their "martyrs" in order to sustain good Public Relations, but that they would find a way to rein them in, and indeed that they would join us in doing so. Of course with the recent rise in double and triple agents of Islam, how can these world wide fanatics be trusted to any degree.

I for one do not buy the PR speeches given by leaders of American mosques, "oh we knew the guy, but he was not really representative of us he was a member of the mosque, but he was part of the fringe group." That sort of excuse has gotten old, it has worn out. Rein them in. No more excuses.

The President of the United States has spoken, the buck stops here.

I think the president's tone, his remarks that we are at war, and his quoting of Harry S. Truman should not be taken litghtly, by ether the PR wing of Islam or the Guerrilla warfare or "strap on" faction.

And I think by President Obama's remarks, he is hearing the message from the American people, and probably some factions of his inner foreign policy circle, that to end Jihad, will take and dramatic and final destructive event in the name of lasting peace. Jihad must be stopped, and we have the means to do it. Jihad is a concept that is not religious, by any stretch of the human imagination and it is immune from spin doctoring. The concept the idea must by wiped from human consciousness. The idea that it has to do with the inner spirituality of the individual, is not a concept that will hold water anymore. Implicit in the effort to portray Jihad as personal, is the conclusion that an individual must act out anyway. It allows the leaders to absolve themselves and call themsleves "moderate" or good muslims, while distancing themsleves fromt he "personally fanataical". It is in fact a shell game, but instead of a pea, they try to hide reponsibility. And of course while we aere focused on the game, we are not dealing with the cirses in an effective manner. The only way to deal with the crises effectively is to stop playing the game. The pea is there it does not matter which shell it is under.

Unfortunately, the only way to wipe Jihad from the human consciousness, is the same way that an Imperial Japan was wiped from the world's Psyche. Today Imperial Japan is history and the Japanses people are responsible and peace loving world citizens -- thanks to Harry Truman.

And remember, we are Americans, our motto since our beginning has been, death to all tyrants. Whether the tyrant be a fanatical political leader and soci-political philosophy such as Nazi-ism or Facism, or whether the tyrant, wears a beard and calls himself ayatollah.

I think the President expressed last night the growing impatience of the American people, for purposeful action that will end this tyranny masquerading as religion.

If you are a true religion and one of peace, then stop the "strap-ons".

The United States of America was born by destroying tyranny, we have risen to the occasion and done what is necessary to meet the challenge and have always been victorious in it's destruction. Oh yes we tolerate it for awhile and many tyrants take our restraint as weakness. But the situation in the minds of many Americans, and it looks like in the mind of the President of the United States, is quickly approaching "critical mass", if you get my meaning.

If Islam is a true religion, and one of peace, well the way I understood the President's speech last night, then it is time to rein in your "strap-ons". The US will only take so much how shall I say ... abuse ... from strap-ons.

And let us rememeber lest one misunderstand American politcs, just as only the Republican Richard Nixon could go to China and get away with it politically, only an African American liberal Democrat could do what many think of as unthinkable, and get away with it.

It is not unthinkable, we have MIRVed warheads and we know how to use them, and believe me they are not "strap-ons", they are the real thing.
