The trouble with Brahmans, is that as with all caste systems
they have a built in since of entitlement with exemptions too, from the very
values, principled behavior, or standard that they are "entitled" to both:
·
assume possession of, traits, without being requirement
to provide evidence that these characteristics exist in any given Brahman, we
are supposed to assume that they do;
·
and hold others accountable according to their
criteria of accountability, in which all lower castes implicitly come up short.
Any stratification or hierarchy has the above delineated two-fold
belief system implanted within it.
We do not tolerate these sorts of artificial distinctions it
in the United States of America. For to do so would be to nullify the American
Revolution, after 200 plus years.
A superior attitude based caste level, route memorization,
and strict adherence to standards, will eventually wash out in the melting pot.
With Americans what matters is results, what makes us this
way? We have experienced multiple violent wars where our very existence was at
stake. In fact we were born from such violence.
America has, from the beginning, been blessed
with individuals who have been willing to put their very lives on the line for
The United States of America
Having to fight for our very existence on multiple occasions,
has taught us the value, with periodic reinforcement, of allowing the best and
the brightest as measured by effectiveness and effort only, not adherence to
standards. As with metal we have burnt away the impurities of cast and
aristocracy, the false privilege of birth right in the fire of choosing to
fight violently rather than submit. Hell, in the civil war we fought against
ourselves the same way. The Civil War
burnt away the impurity of slavery.
The civil war provides a great example of an aspect of my
point, what makes America Great, the promotion of those who are effective over seemingly
more talented and yet less effective individuals.
During the Civil War, The United States Army went through a
number of Generals who were ineffective and yet assumed their "right"
to lead others in a hierarchically fashion rather than an effectiveness based
one. As a country we paid the price by prolonging the war. Eventually even General
Mead who won the "battle" of Gettysburg and handed Lee his first
defeat, but failed to chase, crush and destroy what had become a beatable and
an inferior force on the run; was replaced.
Meade's replacement General Grant is revered to this day because
of his effectiveness and throwing away “the book” by feigning retreat yet all
the while chasing Lee and engaging him at every turn.
General Sherman holds the distinction of being the most
American in the way in which this writer uses this term. General Sherman completely
threw away the book completely, and thus invented the strategy of destroying
the enemy's ability to make war be destroying their supplies and factories, as
well as, their supply lines. This is a great innovative strategy of the Civil
War. The United States of America has continued to use this strategy ever since
General Sherman invented it on the battlefield during the Civil War.
In our defeat by the North Vietnamese the supplies and lines
were made invisible, and we were not willing to win that war because or
existence was not on the line -- the existence of South Vietnam was. Thus we
refused to use the weapons we have to protect us when our existence is at
stake. We could hold back and let South Vietnam go.
Now we are confronted with new enemies and our existence is
on the line again as we battle an enemy bent on our destruction, that grows
stronger in both numbers and numbers of violent activities whose tactic to
counter our strategy of destroying their ability to make war is to hide their
supplies not underground or in “neutral” zones, but in benevolent civilian
institutions like hospitals and schools.
These organized Jihadists, bent on the destruction of the
United States of America and Israel, are not afraid to use kamikaze like
suicide missions to destroy non-combatants -- civilians. These are the tactics
of savages. So far, The United States of America, fail to heed the lessons
learned from the past.
At the most high levels of government, tolerance has won absolute
victory over justice of any kind. This is not view that is held by the American
people nor is this view a part of our legacy but the policy of a regime that is
peculiar in its own way, because of their insistence that tolerance is the only
value worth persevering and pursuing. This current regime is single-minded in its’
pursuit of tolerance. This single mindedness not
only neglects and ignores justice as a principle, as a value, as a truth but
denies that Justice is a principle at all. The only principle that this current
regime in the United States recognizes is tolerance.
Ignoring the lessons of history, that teach us not only that
there are principles just as, or even more important than tolerance, as well as,
the ways in which to identify and recognize intolerable situations, this
administration subverts the value of life, the value of American lives in order
to pursue tolerance. This regime or administration has completely surrendered
to the culture of death in favor of tolerance.
This view that tolerance is the supreme value to the point
of extinguishing all other principles is an extremely radical left wing point
of view and represents the views of but a small fringe minority of American
opinion. The view held by this administration and pursued single-mindedly is as
radically left wing and unrepresentative of the American General Will as is the
view held and pursued single mindedly by the radical right that building a country
of, by, and for the wealthiest 1% is somehow beneficial to the United States of
America, representative of the General Will and the only policy worth pursuing.
Each are equally damaging. The excesses of the right wing will ultimately
destroy us economically while the excesses of the radical left will leave us
open to destruction by foreign powers who
exist, seek our destruction and pursuing policies to bring about our
destruction.
Let us as Americans hope each of these radical and
unrepresentative points of view will wash out just as the idea of planting the
Indian caste system over here will wash out. And for the same reason -- the
values expressed by these individuals are simply inconsistent with the social
contract that is the United States of America.
India put up with the brits much longer than they had to,
but brought the world a way of non-violent struggle that wins -- a tremendous achievement and gift to all of
humanity. Adopted and used successfully by Martin Luther King Jr. in America
during our struggle for racial rights. Gandhi’s method, and It does not diminish
the importance of Gandhi’s achievement; his gift nor its usefulness; to say
that it is not a fit solution in all situations of violent oppression and threat
-- it would not have defeated the Nazi's nor the Japanese, and it would not
have saved South Vietnam.
In spite of the valiant and courageous efforts of those who
have dedicated their lives to this method -- non-violent resistance -- like
Thich Nhat Hanh-- South Vietnam was defeated.
In addition to Islamic terrorism we are now on a vector to
direct conflict with Russia, in Syria. Russia is country having its own
ultimate capabilities.
What will China do? Both their patience and arrogance exceed
those of the United States and Russia.
Do you as an American feel safer, with this new doctrine;
the supremacy of tolerance, tolerance being the one and only principle worth
pursuing? This writer sees it as the foolish trait of a regime, an administration,
a man who had no business becoming President of the United States, for his
pursuit of tolerance has overshadowed his oath of office, has overcome his duty
-- to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of
America. His foreign policies demonstrate his peculiarity to put tolerance
ahead of his oath, which makes him unfit to hold the office.
If true, and history will be the final judge, he has
committed treason.
